Towne Craft Credentials

Stu Garlington, owner, Towne Craft Builders, LLC, has been involved in the custom home building industry since 1974.

After attending Babson College in Wellesley, MA, Stu came to Maryland for a summer job with a national home builder and never looked back. During that employment, he progressed through the ranks to become one of that company’s youngest Division Production Managers. Stu has also held the position of Vice President of Operations for a regional builder’s ventures in Maryland and northern Virginia where over 500 homes were delivered annually.

Additionally, he has been a Senior Consultant for FAST, a nationally recognized enterprise solution software company, helping homebuilders in Maryland, Virginia, Nevada, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Alabama, North Carolina, and Texas improve their operational and business practices.

Most recently, Stu was one of four independent builders associated with Curtis Homes. As a “Curtis Preferred Builder,” Towne Craft Builders completed over 30 homes locally in the past four years. He is now forging ahead with his own vision of what constitutes a custom homebuilder with operations focused primarily in southern Maryland.

Best Warranty in Southern Maryland

Each home Towne Craft builds comes with a 10-year Structural Warranty by the Residential Warranty Company, LLC (RWC). Towne Craft is proud of its association with RWC. Its selection and renewal process is rigorous. Not every homebuilder qualifies to offer a RWC warranty.
